Liam was crouched in a ball, underneath an overpass. The rain lashed down mercilessly either side of him. The creature was still standing in front of him. Liam picked himself up. "Thank you, Kreios. You've shown me things I had almost forgotten, as well as things that were more recent. I hope you help many others during your time. I'm in your debt." He was sitting in a field. No, not a field, rather a small park. Liam leant against the roots of a large apple tree. He looked behind him, and swore. The grassy earth abruptly ended right by his left hand, giving way to empty space. He realised the entire sward was floating through a black expanse. A layer of thick fog surrounded everything. Without warning, a tall shadow emerged from the haze. A man, dressed in a sharp, creaseless suit, with jet black hair, mystiOut of the Ordinary - Part 2
